Installation Instructions

Ensure latest iTero restorative version installation

1.1.              Run iTero restorative to get the iTero restorative version currently installed

1.2.      If version is lower than 5.2.1.290, download and install:

1.2.1.               Create folder C:\iTero\models\sw_versions if it doesn’t exist

1.2.2.      For XP scanner (HDU) Download from iTero restorative HDU Scanner - latest release to this folder.

1.2.2.      For Win7 scanner (HD 2.9) Download from iTero restorative HD2.9 Scanner - latest release to this folder.

1.2.3.               Run iTero restorative and select ‘Yes’ in the iTero restorative upgrade message

System Registration

2.1.              Login into the MyCadent.com web site and use the ‘Companies’ ‘Search Dental Office’ menu command to find the Company ID

2.2.              Run Case Manager from the desktop icon

2.3.              Open the options dialog from the ‘Tools’ ‘Options…’ menu

2.4.              Enter the ‘User Configuration’ tab and press ‘Register System…’

2.5.              Enter the Company ID, the MyCadent login email and password and press ‘OK’

 

Set Doctor Preferences (Optional)

3.1.              Run iTero restorative from the desktop icon

3.2.              Open the Options dialog from the ‘Tools’ ‘Options…’ menu

3.2.1.               Enter the ‘Preferences’ tab and set the following:

3.2.1.1.                 Select the doctor's preferred Case Type as the default

3.2.1.2.                 Select the doctor's preferred Scanning Order as the default

3.2.1.3.                 Fill-in the Doctor's license number

3.2.1.4.                 Select the doctor's preferred Tooth Shade system as the default

3.2.2.               Scan the doctor's signature

3.3.              Press ‘OK’ when done

3.4.              If there are several doctors in the office, switch user from the ‘File’ ‘Switch User…’ menu, and repeat the steps above for each doctor

iTero Restorative Validation

4.1.              Start a new case by pressing the ‘New’ toolbar icon (first on the left)

4.2.              Verify Rx fields (doctor info, license number and other preferences set as defaults)

4.3.              Scan Typodont or plaster model

4.4.              Confirm successful scan

4.5.              Press the ‘Send’ toolbar icon

4.6.              Confirm model reception by Cadent – open Case Manager and check that the case got a Case ID, the case line colored in black and removed from upper panel
